Opera Art LIVE – Exhibit and Auction – April 25

April 25 – Observe the artists at work up close and personal at the Howell Opera House!

The Livingston Arts Council is showcasing a new public event, ‘Opera Art LIVE’ on April 25 – 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., featuring on site artists working in a variety of mediums and themes. Each artist will have a 6′ x  6′ studio area in which to work.

The event is sponsored by Champion Automotive Group, Right Brain Brewery, Gus’s Carryout, Bikram Yoga of Brighton, O’Toole’s Pub, Glass Academy of Dearborn, SMART, Imperial Distribution, Artventures, Wharton Center and Robert Wyland Foundation.

You’re invited! 6:00 -8:00 p.m. – Guests enter at 6:00 p.m. to browse and observe artists as they create their pieces. Guests can participate in a silent auction for the pieces of art they favor while enjoying strolling appetizers.

8:00 – 8:30 p.m. – Final bidding.

Afterglow, 8:30 – 10:00 p.m. – Winning bids are announced and guests can meet the artists.

A portion of the proceeds for each piece will be given to the artist. All remaining proceeds benefit the continuation and expansion of art programs at the Howell Opera House. More information: 517.540.0065.
